The
userfriendly WEINCAD SCREW DESIGNER® software package facilitates
the quick and accurate programming and designing of single and multi
lobe progressive cavity pumps/motors, compressors and screw spindle
pumps as well as injection molding screws, single extrusion screws,
co-/counter rotating, parallel and conical twin extruder screws, also
precision ball screws and threads.
Constant
or variable flight width, pitch changes, flank angles and flat bottom
are precisely generated in accordance to the design drawings. Parallel,
tapered, cam shaped and special profiles as well as polygons can be
generated without problems to cover all state of the art screw designs.

Included
in the software are also different profile shapes for the precise
meshing of progressive cavity pumps/motors and self wiping co- and
counter rotating twin screws.
The software package supports all available machining methods such
as: Whirling, Peeling, Internal Whirling, Peripheral-/End Milling,
P/R-Whirling/Milling, External and Internal Synchronized Whirling,
Peeling and Stator Boring, Hob Milling as well as Grinding/Polishing
and Measuring. |

The
most important advantage is the combination of software, machine
and tool design. The effect of changes in swivel angle, center distance,
flight circle, etc. can be visualized and calculated in each position.
By
means of the WEINCAD SCREW DESIGNER® software the whirling process
is simulated, and an economical machining process - whirling - is
made effective
The
software solution for turning and milling parts consists of a postprocessor
inclusive graphical 3D CNC simulation with collision check, measuring
cycles, etc. based on a CL (Cutter Location) file. The CL file is
the most used standard of leading CAD/CAM Systems..
